Regional Quality Tables

Map of Ontario’s regions

Regional Quality Tables bring together health system leaders in each region. They have been developed collaboratively by Ontario’s Local Health Integration Networks, with support from Health Quality Ontario.

Created to address local quality challenges and issues and to ensure alignment between regional and provincial quality priorities, these committees also have an instrumental role in the development and implementation of integrated regional quality plans.

Bringing together both clinical experience and patient perspectives, Regional Quality Tables also monitor quality initiatives in their communities.

Clinical Quality Leads – co-appointed by Health Quality Ontario and each Local Health Integration Network – chair the Regional Quality Table and hold a seat at the Integrated Clinical Care Committee.

Find out more about the roles and responsibilities of the Regional Quality Tables in their terms of reference.
