Quality Improvement

Medical professionals in a learning environment

IDEAS (Improving & Driving Excellence Across Sectors) was a training program focused on quality improvement.

Developed in partnership between Health Quality Ontario, ICES and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (University of Toronto), IDEAS provided quality improvement capacity building to over 9,000 graduates from 2013 to 2019.

As of 2019, the advanced learning component of the IDEAS program will no longer be offered. The IDEAS Foundations program will continue to be offered by specific partner organizations across the province.
