Measuring Patient Experience in Ontario

Patient experiences are a rich source of information about the performance of Ontario’s health system, providing insights that can lead to improving the quality of patient care. However, the province is challenged by a lack of consistent, comprehensive and useful information about patient experiences. To address this, Health Quality Ontario, partners across the health system, and regional planners (the Local Health Integration Networks) have developed the Patient Experience Measurement Strategy.
