Evidence to Improve Care

Apply to join the Ontario Quality Standards Committee

Physician with patient

This committee plays a key role in advancing our quality standards program, while also playing a broader role in Ontario’s health care system. Its goal: To improve coordination and consistency of health care services for patients across the province.

This means moving beyond knowing how to improve quality health care – to ensuring all parts of the health care system are able to get there.

This is why the Ontario Quality Standards Committee will work with patients and the public, clinicians, organizations across Ontario’s health system, and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care – for a more centralized, integrated and systematic approach to quality health care.
