The Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School

Health Quality Ontario offers qualifying health professionals the opportunity to enrol in the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School. This program is known for its strong curriculum and offers training and tools in an online, educational community of 250,000 learners. The focus is to help health organizations and professionals build skills in quality improvement and safety, and deliver excellent patient care.

Health Quality Ontario offers enrolment to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Open School for a six month term that is renewable, which provides access to an extensive catalogue of online courses designed by world-class faculty in the following areas:

  • Patient Safety

  • Improvement Capability

  • Quality, Cost and Value

  • Person- and Family-Centered Care

  • Triple Aim for Populations

  • Leadership

  • Graduate Medical Education
