Highlights of the Day

  • As Canada’s largest conference on health care quality, nearly 2,500 delegates were in attendance

  • The day featured 26 breakout sessions and over 130 poster presentations

  • An interactive breakfast with Helen Bevan, Dr. Joshua Tepper and Patient Advisors in attendance

  • David Giuliano, spoke about his twenty plus years living with cancer and his interactions with the health system

  • Helen Bevan, Chief Transformation Officer of the National Health Service, England presented on leading change and the future of health care

  • The 2016 Minister's Medals Honouring Excellence in Health Quality and Safety were presented by Dr. Eric Hoskins, Minister of Health and Long-Term Care

  • Remarks from Dr. Bob Bell, Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care

  • Release of the first three Quality Standards to Ontario
