Evidence to Improve Care

Care for Adults

This quality standard focuses on care for adults 18 years of age and older with primary open-angle glaucoma and those who are at risk for primary open-angle glaucoma. It focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and management, and it applies to all care settings and all eye care providers who provide glaucoma care, including optometrists and ophthalmologists.

The Provincial Vision Strategy Task Force and Health Quality Ontario are collaborating on the development of this quality standard.
