Focusing on the quality of care in emergency departments, this program builds a culture of continuous improvement. It is designed to help clinicians and hospitals in Ontario identify, audit and investigate underlying causes of return visits to their emergency departments and take steps to address them.
Supported by Health Quality Ontario, Access to Care and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, the program is guided by an expert working group involved in all stages of its design.
