Abstracts


Submit an Abstract by August 17th

The 2018 Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Forum Planning Committee invites you to submit abstracts on:

  • A quality improvement project that demonstrates results and/or lessons learned

  • Research focused on patient safety and related outcomes

Abstracts may include qualitative, quantitative or mixed methods data and must include preliminary or final results in order to be considered for selection. Please refer to the abstract submission guideline document below for more information.

Please email your abstract using the submission template provided below to the Abstract Review Committee at education@cquips.ca no later than August 17, 2018.

The Abstract Review Committee will review all submitted abstracts. The committee will notify authors of the results, via email, by September 12, 2018. If your abstract is accepted, you must confirm acceptance and register for the conference by September 19, 2018. You are responsible for your own travel and accommodation costs.

Note: Only abstracts submitted by email using the submission form template will be accepted. You will receive an email confirming the receipt of your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of your submission, please email education@cquips.ca.

If you were part of IDEAS cohort 12 and 13, there is no need to submit an abstract for your IDEAS project as part of the open competition. Project teams from these cohorts are guaranteed a poster at this event. For more details, please contact your QI advisor. For all other former IDEAS cohorts, please refer to the submission guideline document for the abstract submission process.
