As a conduit between Health Quality Ontario and front-line health care providers in their regions, they address local quality challenges, ensure alignment with provincial quality priorities and help activate change.

A Quality Improvement Specialist is assigned to each region to promote a local culture of quality improvement, working in collaboration with Clinical Quality Leads and their tables to:

Identify potential opportunities for spread and scale of successful programs from one region to other regions.

Align and integrate provincial programs to regional health care needs and priorities.
