Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee

​The Ontario Genetics Advisory Committee advises on the clinical utility, validity and value for money of new and existing genetic and genomic tests in Ontario. A recommendation is then made on which tests should be publicly funded.

The Ontario Genetics Advisory Committee consists of 10 to 12 volunteer members, including health care experts and individuals who can contribute the patient perspective, serving on a renewable two-year term.
