Quality Improvement

ARTIC logo

The Adopting Research to Improve Care (ARTIC) Program accelerates the spread of proven care.

ARTIC breaks down barriers and spreads proven interventions across the health system using these five enablers:

  • Strategic selection of interventions that have the potential for high impact
  • Education and training
  • Guidance and facilitation championship
  • A clear governance structure
  • Evaluation

ARTIC was developed by the Council of Academic Hospitals of Ontario and is now co-led with Health Quality Ontario. Together, we extend an annual call for proposals for high-impact interventions that improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
