As part of our ongoing commitment to improving health quality across the province, Health Quality Ontario created e-learning modules.
The following courses are available via machealth, the online e-learning portal from McMaster University’s school of medicine:
Every day, primary care providers are faced with the challenge of meeting their patients’ needs as quickly as possible. Busy waiting rooms and stressful workplaces are common, but they don’t have to be.
Health Quality Ontario developed the Advanced Access and Efficiency program – resources and strategies to assist primary care practices to see patients on the day they call in or on a day of their choosing. They are designed to streamline the day, enrich the experiences of patients, and increase staff satisfaction.
Managing chronic disease can be a complex and difficult process for individuals with chronic conditions, their families, and their health care providers.
Health Quality Ontario developed a comprehensive chronic disease management learning program to help primary care providers support their patients in managing their chronic illnesses. The program consists of five, web-based modules that gives participants techniques and best practices to make improvements that help meet the needs of people living with chronic diseases.
Patients, families and the public are central to improving health quality.
